| Hidden Star
Hidden Star Orchards located in Linden, California on 80 acres - 65 of which is a dedicated wildlife habitat. Founded by Dutch immigrants John and Clazien Smits and now run by their son Johann, the farm converted to organic practices in order to respond to the public demand for organic apples. Hidden Star Orchards provides Judahlicious with apples, blueberries, lemons. Johann is a good dude and is pulling for us to survive here at Judahlicious.



Ella Bella
Ella Bella Farm came to be in 1999 through the hard work of Michelle and Brandon. Named after Michelle's daughter Ella, the 19 acre farm is located in Watsonville. Brandon and Michelle bring together a love of farming, a concern for farm-workers rights, convictions about the social and societal context of farming today, and a deep commitment to ecological sustainability. Ella Bella supplies Judahlicious with a variety of berries, garlic, eight-ball zucchini, and lettuces. Brandon and Michelle have been very generous to this little juice shop.
SOIL: Sandy loam built with cover crops, crop rotation, composted chicken manure, and organic amendments.
WEED CONTROL: Plastic mulch for strawberries, crop rotations, hand weeding, and machine cultivation.
PEST MANAGEMENT: Integrated Pest Management including habitat for beneficial insects, release of beneficial insects, micronized sulfur on tomato plants, soap, and neem on berries.
WATER USE: Many crops are dry-farmed: potatoes and most tomatoes. Minimal irrigation is applied to other crops using drip lines and sprinklers.
WORKERS: 6 full-time employees, including Brandon plus 4 seasonal workers.
ORGANIC CERTIFICATION: 3 acres of berries are CA certified organic by Monterey County since 2002; 16 new acres are registered as transitional organic since 2003.


Pacific Wildcraft
Mendocino, Ca
Andrew hand harvests his seaweed off of the Mendocino coast he harvests form several different stands ( basically a seaweed garden) carefully chosen and sun dried Andrew handcrafts as excellent a product as can be found.
We at Judahlicious use several different types of his harvest.
